I left a comment earlier on another episode and think I may have been in a bad mood. I have heard Tony and Brandon ask for feedback so here it goes. First, there are thousands of past and present podcasts. Like in business (Excluding those that have financial backing from the get go), most podcasts; like this one are a couple of people working full time jobs and trying to put together a weekly show can be tough. I get it, really I do. That being said, you can't treat your audience like idiots and expect them to ride the rough early episodes with you. What am I talking about? Pretty much every episode you will hear, "Sorry not really prepared this week for the show, I was just so busy". OK, I get that but you can't use that excuse then proceed to tell the audience, "I saw this and that movies in the theater, watched this and that shows on TV". To listeners paying attention, this translates to, "I want the podcast to be successful, but not really willing to put much work into it". If listeners have a choice and they do have many choices, they are going to pick first a show that covers topics they are interested in, secondly a show in which the hosts at the very least give the audience the impression they care about the listeners. Now, I don't doubt Tony and Brandon do care but the lack of pre show prep, will suggest to some, "Ahhh not so much". Branding: This podcast came up in the paranormal section, uhmm a little bit of paranormal. A lot of movie talk. Nothing wrong with that, but not what I am looking for. Analogy: A serving of French fries movie talk is the potato, paranormal talk is the salt. I have listened to all the episodes most recent to oldest. I have given this podcast a fair shake. Eventually though the hosts have to step up, I have not seen this happen. The best episodes were with Martin and the young lady (Forgot her name, sorry). In those episodes there was some actual substance to the podcasts instead of inane babbling.
